Air Treatment

An efficient and smart air solution is more than a line of high-quality compressors. It is a combination of air generation, filtering, drying, condensation and purification expertise and products.  In every compressed air system water is the single largest contaminant and often the most obvious. Removing this liquid condensate from the system can be a high energy consuming area if not managed correctly.

Air Energy works with the leading brands, so whatever your air treatment requirement, we have a solution for you.

Filtration

The reliability of compressed air filtration is paramount to the ongoing fight against problems caused through contamination entering the air system. Contamination in the form of dirt, oil and water can lead to:

  • Pipe scale and corrosion within pressure vessels
  • Damage to production equipment, air motors, air tools, valves and cylinders
  • Premature and unplanned desiccant replacement for adsorption dryers
  • Spoiled product

Contact Air Energy today for more information on Air Filters, what they do and how to use them. Whether you need a new complete air compressor filter housing or just a replacement filter element, we are her to help.

Dryers

Compressed air dryers are designed to remove water from your compressed air system preventing water being carried into your process equipment, often with disastrous results. Whilst the concept is simple, making sure moisture is correctly removed under all climatic conditions, at all times of year, regardless of the amount of air being used can be challenging. A good understanding of your working environment and the compressed air system is essential to get the correct dryer specified and installed.

Condensate Management

Compressed-air condensate often consists of 99% water and 1% oil, so falls under the remit of polluting matter. Following the water industry act of 1991 and the environmental protection regulation of 1991, it is illegal to dispose of untreated condensate down the drain.

Air Energy can supply and install equipment to both remove condensate from your compressed air system and treat it onsite, keeping your company compliant with legislation while also saving money.
